The Prelude: 1799, 1805, 1850 by William Wordsworth

slow-paced

4.0

I read this in the first term of my literature degree, and it was one of my favourite books I've read so far. I don't know why it took me this long to read, as my interest in Romantic era poetry is lengthy.

Some passages I enjoyed more than others, I'll admit, but the whole thing comes together in the most beautiful way. Very difficult but rewarding at the same time.

Bliss it was in that dawn to be alive
But to be young was very heaven.
