No One Can Pronounce My Name
by Rakesh Satyal
Appreciated the Indian representation in general, and the immigrant's experiences but other than that.... I felt kinda bad for Harit, but i did feel like it should've been more of his responsibility to fix himself instead of feeling like Ranjana basically just fixing him. I enjoyed Ranjana's growth and story, but I think there should've been more about her gay friend instead of him being dropped from the plot entirely? At least with Ranjana missing his friendship or something. I really disliked Prashant and his crush because it felt so much like weird Indian boys I know, so I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I did like the side characters and the general ending, and even though not much happened, the pacing felt okay so there is that.
