I'm a bit surprised with how much I actually enjoyed this book. So far the only zombie books I've read have been walking dead graphic novels and The Forest of Hands and Teeth.
This is better. This is what the walking dead could have been if Rick hadn't been in a coma. The start, the "holy f**king s**t what is happening?!" chaos.
It was intense, I didn't really want to stop reading, and as a parent I felt his desperate need to find his family.
I'll read the next one
