Starting from Scratch by Stacy Gail

This book seriously tugged on my heart strings.

Sully came back, from the war, with not all of his memory. He basically remembers everything but his wife. So he demands a divorce, so she won't suffer. But he has no idea how much more she is suffering being apart from him.

Lucy is trying to move on, but she still loves her husband and doesn't understand why he can't remember her.

Seeing Lucy react to him, you feel her heart breaking. I was in a constant state of sadness. My eyes teared up the whole time. She wished she could forget him also. It's so hard loving someone who doesn't remember loving you.

While he may not remember her, he remembers the sweets that she makes. And slowly starts to want more than friendship with her. But how can you want someone, who you don't remember, while the other person remembers?

Heart breaking.....
