Death Can Wait by Evan Bond

5.0

What would you do if you became shipwrecked on an island? What would you do if you found out there were mercenaries on that island with you? What if these soldiers--who seemingly don’t have a conscious--were solely focused on ending you? Would you be able to turn on your inner survival mode and fight for your life? And could you take a life if it came down to it? For Luke and Renee--a couple who normally don’t do outdoor activities--have to dig deep really quick to find their animal instinct. You back up a caged animal far enough, threaten it (or its family), and it will fight back. Same goes for this couple. With each consecutive chapter, Bond ramps up the intensity of this story. Luke and Renee go through numerous trial-by-fire situations each causing them to reach deeper within themselves to live another hour…another day for themselves and their mate. Bond evokes heartache and despair; he knows how to drive the story and make it really move. Death Can Wait is an action-packed, intense, brutal, survival story with a heavy-hitting ending. Read it for the great story it is and to know what you have to do if you ever find yourself in their situation. Because when the odds are against you, you have to do what you have to do to survive. Find out what Luke and Renee did by checking out Death Can Wait.
