I didn’t enjoy this one and I enjoy pretty much all explorations of the Pan/Neverland story. It was strange that it’s marketed as bold and gritty but the grit is softened over with the same 5-6 words to describe who knows how many actions. I found it boring. Also, the lack of detail made it feel like the author couldn’t decide how far they wanted to go, rather than any narrative choice that made sense with the character of Tootles.

I felt by the end that there was so much in shadow, so little explored, and it made a story about young genderqueer “bois” into a lifestyle D/s with an older Pan feel infuriatingly vanilla.
