I was a little reluctant to read this, since the new adult genre can be pretty....trashy, but Black Iris was just so good, so I gave this a shot. I read almost the entire thing in one sitting, which is pretty rare for me- it was just that captivating. I feel like there were always a thousand things that were about to be revealed, and those revelations were hiding behind every corner. I liked that this book didn't cast the usual negative light on sex work that's so commonly seen in society.
