Sagittarius Saves Libra by Anyta Sunday

2.0

I adore the Signs of Love series and I was waiting for the last one, Sagittarius Saves Libra for a long time. So I am very sad to say that for the most part, this book just left me feeling bored.

Maybe part of that was that my taste in book has changed over the years since I started the series.
I usually adore the light hearted and somewhat silly books by this author, the feel-good moments and shenanigans, and the lovable and oblivious characters. But this one I found a bit too unbelieveable.

I just don't believe the entire twin switcheroo scenario. No way that would work on any level - especially with one of them being a world-renowed pianist and the other one having last taken lessons as a child.

Of course things don't go as the characters expect, so the scheme doesn't go smoothly, but still, simply that they thought it up this way... Not even the usual sweet moments and lovely characters could distract me enough.

It still is a sweet romance and I bet many other people would enjoy it. But this book has taken a long time to release because the author said themselves that it just wouldn't quite work, and several iterations were needed to get it done. And maybe that shows a little.

I received an ARC and reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
