This book, this series, is incredible!! What a rollercoaster of emotions this third book was. There were so many twists and turns that I did not see coming. The last 100 or so pages are definitely the height of the book, with one scene in particular that was heartbreaking.
SJM does a beautiful job making stories come to life. You get to know the characters at a much deeper level and are introduced to new faces…and mythical creatures. A lot of backstory is filled in which makes ACOWAR a fast read.
Ultimately, the third book ties up all the loose ends and provides us with an epic battle which wasn’t at all overhyped.
