A book that promises excellent things of a new author, Peach, for me, was just short of being great. Glass' prose and ideas show a lot of potential for her future works yet to come but she's clearly still cutting her teeth and finding her voice. Moments of this were unique and deeply intriguing, whilst others felt like too-close echoes of other authors who write in a similar way. I am interested to see what else Emma Glass releases in the future but for now this is a 2.5 for me.
