My cup of tea. Maybe not yours and that’s okay. The lead isn’t badass, strong, gifted, magical, genius, or anything like that, and I appreciated that in this story. I feel like being normal is rare these days. The relationship the two leads create is anything but healthy, however it’s incredibly fun to read, and I loved every bit of it. I’m a sucker for a bad guy in the grey zone. I loved the adventure, and gun fights, and kidnappings, and rescues, and near escapes... all bundled up into a well written, funny, sexy, romantic package. I enjoyed this book wholeheartedly. Bravo Ms. Monk. Very well done indeed.
