Good but I think it falls in line with most 2nd books in a series. A little more flat then the 1st. Think of The Butcher and the Wren as a nice crisp Coke and The Butcher Game as a Pepsi.
I still read this book on the matter of days. The storyline was engaging. I like that we get POVs from the serial killer and Wren.
We must be getting book 3 as this book does leave off on a cliff hanger.
