First, I'd like to thank Loren for the opportunity to read and review this before the release day. These thoughts are my genuine and honest opinions in all of their incoherence.
I think I hit almost, if not every, emotion while reading this story.
One More Night is the story of Heather & Marcus. Island romance. Celebrity/Gossip reporter. Enemies to Lovers... But <b>BUT</b> is not your run-of-the-mill version of these genres. Both of our MCs hold some buried secrets and traumas that they need to heal from, and getting to watch their healing journeys was impactful and probably why I spent way too much of my time wiping tears on my shirt. I don't want to give away too much, so sadly, this is all I can think to say. Still, if you want to laugh, cry, be turned on (holy spicy scenes - dirty talk, good girl, I'm pretty sure there were hand necklaces, a little rope tying... Ya know, the usual), and then be shocked and SOB at the epilogue, then One More Night is for you.
Great work on the 2nd full-length novel in this series, Loren! I can't wait to see whose story comes next. 🧐😉
