Don't be put off by the phone numbers and websites--this is not a case of interactive elements carrying an otherwise weak book. Cathy's book is an enthralling and surprising mystery that would stand on its own even without the fun extras.

SPOILER: I think this book also serves as a nice anti-Twilight. The heroine is in love with an immortal being but rather than being a passive ninny like Bella, she's an active, smart, intelligent pain in the ass. I really enjoyed this book.
