What She Found by Robert Dugoni
fast-paced
5.0
It was good to spend more time with Tracy Crosswhite. She now feels like she's settled into herself, grown into her life. She's shaped by her past (as we all are), but that past now feels like more of a springboard than a prison: she's taken what's happened to her and uses that as motivation to make a difference in the world.
I enjoyed the twists of this book, and the way Tracy was determined to do all she could for the people who had lost so much over the year. This was a good comfort read: to the point where I almost wondered if I had read the book before. (I hadn't.) But Robert Dugoni has done a great job of taking what we know and love about Tracy, her colleagues, and her family, and putting them in a new situation.
And now… I've caught up again, and need to wait another year before the author and his publisher give us the next installment in Tracy's story. I'll definitely be reading it!
