Let me start off by saying, I was SO excited for this book because I absolutely ADORED Beckett in Lovelight Farms. Him and Layla were my favorites!

Imagine the let down when Evelyn was the romantic love interest and really getting to know her was such a bore. These two are not compatible. They are boring together. Our Cat Daddy Garden HImbo deserved so much better.

I gotta say I loved some of the things in this book. Like was that autism representation? Possibly depression? I love to see characters who are relatable and not just same bland copy and paste.

I do not recommend the audiobook. If you’re going to read this to get through the series go with the physical/ebook. The audiobook is horrendous. Both narrators are so bland. No real emotion behind anything. Maybe that’s why I hated the characters in this so much!
