So I think that many people are writing scathing reviews without considering context instead of content. Part I is very much like Catcher in the Rye and Part 2 is more like Fight Club. This is clearly a meta text meant to be in the style of Postmodern lit. I read half and listened to the audio for half. What I can say is that this is the voice of Gen Z and I can respect that. I am torn; however, by the depiction of schizophrenia. I think the panic attack episode is impeccably done and I give props to any writer who brings to light what living with mental health issues is like.I just...did the doctor really not see this individual needed much more help? I feel like Red’s character wasn’t given enough context or support but I recognized him for what he was after the first chess game.
