Know My Name by Chanel Miller

5.0

I decided to read this as a non fiction follow up to Beartown. I found this memoir incredibly raw and real, heart wrenching, infuriating, true and extremely important. I listened on audio, read by the author. Chanel had such an artistic way of enunciating points in short clips and phrases strung together. While it may have been my advanced listening speed, it read almost like slam poetry and I found it to be a powerful expression.
