This book had no business being this long. It would’ve been truly terrifying if the author cut down on the MC’s inner dialogue. I found myself skipping whole chapters without missing a single plot point. 1/5 for the length and pacing.
But 5/5 for the scary parts. When we stayed true to the events of the story I was genuinely scared, horrified, and disgusted. However the feeling would quickly dissipate when I had to make it through 10 pages of repetitive thoughts and dreams
