I have.. mixed feelings. This started off really strong for me. I liked the contemporary nature of the story and the exploration of trauma, addiction and abandonment that Katrina Leno delved into. But I wasn't the biggest fan of the magical elements of this story, which just got more and more prevalent and the book went on. I really, really liked the diverse cast of characters and how relationships were analysed by Leno, but I think my enjoyment didn't go much further than that. I do think that people who enjoy a bit of fabulism will like this, it's just not my sort of thing.
