This book messed me up… and I kinda liked it.
This book messed me up… and I kinda liked it.
Look. I went into this not knowing what to expect. What I got was pure, pitch-black chaos — blood, pain, trauma, and kink dialed up to 100. At times it was hot. At times it was horrifying. And sometimes… it was both, which made me question everything about myself.
There were scenes I had to skim — not because they were boring, but because they hurt my damn soul. This isn’t just dark romance. This is "drag-you-into-the-abyss-and-make-you-beg-for-light" dark. And yet? I kept going. Eyes wide, jaw clenched, slightly horrified… but hooked.
This book is twisted. It's violent. It’s full of morally grey, broken people doing terrible things. And somehow, I was into it. Not sure what that says about me, but here we are.
Definitely not for everyone — hell, I’m still not sure it was for me — but it was one hell of a ride.
