My Name Is Barbra
by Barbra Streisand
Listened to this (48 hour!!) audiobook, nice to hear it in her voice, overall an astounding level of detail about various artists choices in various songs/roles/etc that is pretty overwhelming. Also hard to listen to a boomer talk for this long - so much pro-Clinton, a lot of republican-positivity, some kids-these-days, also a lot of "then I lost a million dollars in the stock market but it was fine" money talk. Not specific to Barbara, but it is always astounding to me how white people are so convinced the universe is conspiring to make things happen for them instead of grappling at all with earth-shattering accessibility endowed by wealth and fame and other privileges
