Star Wars: The Last Jedi by Jason Fry

4.0

Good adaptation

This was a pretty good adaptation of one of my favourite Star Wars movies. I enjoyed some of the extra scenes that we didn't get to see in the movie, as well as some internal monologues. The parts about Snoke and some of the history behind the First Order was quite interesting.

My only two dislikes of this book is that the POV jumps around a lot mid section and chapter. It's clearly indicated most of the time, but occasionally got a little confusing.
Second, some important scenes felt like they happened a bit too fast, or the lack of the soundtrack and visual imagery lessened the impact of the scene.

Overall: Recommended
