Gamer for Life by Daniel Schinhofen
4.0
Well, that took a direction I wasn't expecting, for quite a long time. I went into this book hoping for a good LitRPG series and it is good, not great but good. But about 60% in, it became more about sex than about the game. Now, since I like sex, I liked this turn of events and I particularly liked the 2nd shower scene. Very nice. But, it was a lot of sex, which again, nothing wrong with, I just was looking for more game stuff.
The game stuff was repetitive, they kept going back to the same places killing the same things, and since there had been a beta, they knew what to do each time in each place. That got a little dull, I wanted something new.
But, overall I liked the gaming and the sex. In the next book I hope the sex is just here and there, rather than a focus and I hope that they go more places and actually have to figure out what to do.
