yes, i did give this the same rating as 'ignite me', but it's for completely different reasons.

༶•┈┈୨ what i liked ୧┈┈•༶。
Spoileryou dont know how relieved i am that JULIETTE (ELLA???) GOT HER HAIR BACK OMG

✿ the new plotline/story is so much more interesting and hooking than the ones before this
✿ ella is such a pretty name, don't u think?
✿ KENJI AND NAZEERA CMON YOU CANT TELL ME YOU DONT LOVE THEM
✿ the writing got ... better? i ... guess???? i mean it was a little less insufferable than in the first book so-
✿ as fast-paced and addicting as the other books
✿ the last line/scene of the book was so cute oml and also
SpoilerHE PROPOSED WHATTTT

✿ additionally, the memory thing was such a unique idea

"it didn't matter how many times he reset the story or remade the introductions - aaron always fell in love with her. every time."

༶•┈┈୨ what i didn't like ୧┈┈•༶。
✿ the unnecessary explicit scene near the end of the book (like there was actually no need for that wth??? if that wasnt there i probably wouldve rated this higher)
✿ i rated this and 'ignite me' the same, but for completely different reasons. while ignite me was rated the way it was for the lack of good plot and sensibility, this book is rated the same because, despite the good plot, not much happens and it becomes a lil boring. though i totally get that this might be a build-up
✿ evie is such a cutie name but the owner of the name is the cruel opposite
✿ how can that old man just not die like pls im done with u
✿ it just didn't stick with me and didnt give four-star vibes soooooo yeah

"it's not insane to imagine that sometimes even horrible people are searching for a way out of their own darkness."

༶•┈┈୨ in conclusion ୧┈┈•༶。
✥ this book is my fav of the series so far.
✥ new characters? cool cool
✥ KENJI
