These Broken Stars
by Meagan Spooner, Amie Kaufman
4.5 stars
I...well...holy crap. Although this book focuses far more on the development of a relationship, the character development is incredible. I'll admit that the plot was a bit weak, but when authors can make you devour a book about staying alive and falling in love in around 4 hours, you don't really have a choice but to love it. The dialogue between Tarver and the interrogator is concise, humorous, and well-written, and I also loved the details about the spaceship. These Broken Stars is, in the end, a beautiful, harrowing tale of love and survival that will linger with you for days.
