City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

4.0

Clary Fray is a normal fifteen-year-old girl, spending her normal life between art school and her friends. One night she sees something unusual in a club, and her life will be forever changed. She will be thrown into a world where angels, demons, vampires, werewolves, warlocks and the Fair Folk is just an ordinary Tuesday, and she will have to deal with the truth about who and what she is.
The worldbuilding is extremely detailed and immersive, the writing is fluid and flowing and every character has their own unique voice.
