I love Viola Davis. She’s one of my favorite actresses, and I’m so glad I listened to her memoir. It’s brutally honest and narrated by Davis tremendously well. Finding Me explores Viola’s tough journey to the phenomenal woman she’s become. She recounts her experiences with racism and growing up in poverty. Davis also touches on her career, love, and other achievements. I admire her strength; many events Viola went through were extremely traumatic and truly heartbreaking. After finishing, I felt so inspired and gained many new perspectives. I highly recommend this to everyone. I appreciate Viola’s vulnerability. Her story needed to be told!
