I loved the Da Vinci Code. I read it back when I was in middle school and it sparked in me a love for historical fiction and historical thrillers. I've reread it many times. I've loved Angels and Demons, and I even liked books 3 and 4. But this, this was a huge let down.

Maybe it's because it's set in my own country and it depicts places I know. Maybe it's because it is the same formula all over again. Or maybe it's because my suspension of disbelief has a limit and I seriusly think Robert Langdon should not be allowed anywhere outside Harvard because it seems like everytime he goes out somewhere, chaos ensues.

I think I've reached my limit with a supercomputer who's called like a british butler, a future queen of Spain who quotes Frozen and a scientific discovery that reads like one of the endings of Mass Effect. I miss my albino monk, those were simpler times.
