"Just because you got dusted doesn't mean you're done."

Yeahhh I'm obsessed. I'm a sucker for a good, steamy cowboy romance, okay? Yeehaw 🤠🐴

First of all, the cover is absolutely stunning. I love the vintage cowboy poster feel. I think the characters were great and the names Luke and Clementine are perfect fits for them. This gives everything you want it to give. We've got the hot bad boy/cowboy, brother's best friend. We've got the small town and the perfect dive bar. We've got the badass female character who moves back home from the big city to said small town. We've got tension for days. We've got dual POV. We even have a little touch-her-and-die moment. And you know what we don't have? A third act breakup!!

"When it came to Emmy, I was playing with fire, but I would happily walk into the flames for her."

It's fast paced; I loved the beginning of the story with all the tension and slow burn. I wish she dragged that out a little further, because it did start to get a little insta-lovey, which is not my thing. I wish Luke stopped calling her sugar every 5 seconds; I'm sorry I just could not picture this in a sexy way no matter how hard I tried.

Anyway, I was giggling and kicking my feet the whole time. Perfect quick read! I'm excited to see where the rest of the series leads. Anyone else feeling the crazy tension between Teddy and Gus.... 👀
