oh man. oh maaan. ok. alright. so dystopian(?) book by lissa price. throughout to book, i was enjoying myself. it had an interesting plot w good characters. but but but. the ending came. spoilers for the ending:

it was going so well. it would have been a happy fulfilling ending. but the author just had to make it a cliffhanger to last till the second book. which i will not be reading. ill prob read a summarized version online. when it was revealed that blake wasnt actually blake but actually The Old Man? thats disgusting. hes 100+ yrs old messing around w a 16 yr old girl. callie seemed like she forgot all abt mikey. also lauren had a big personality change halfway thru. she seemed against helenas plan. also had such a strong reaction to callie being the host that seeing her actually agree to callies plan was,,,, off-putting and confusing. also i dont get the old man. how he makes everything work.

so it was a fine story but the ending ruined it. would i recommend? sure. its a nice book w a nice concept
