This concept seemed bold and fresh, however its execution left much to be desired. I appreciated Dietrich's scathing social commentary on heteronormative relationship tropes but the plot and timeline lacked believability. The dialogue was a bit stiff and awkward, especially given that the protagonists are teens. I really liked the idea of this novel and will probably give the author another shot but am overall disappointed.
