I ended up downloading this gem on a whim and I am so glad I did! This was my very first Meghan Quinn book and I freaking loved it. It was funny, heartwarming, spicy, and had me feeling all the feels. I enjoyed the banter and the group text messages, especially while listening to the audiobook.
Since this was book four in the series and my first read from it, I wasn't familiar with the team, but needless to say, I fell in love with them. As for Halsey Holmes? This man has my heart and he is now up there as one of my favorite book boyfriends. I swooned so much from this man and how much he cares for Blakely. He's also a prime example of how it's always the quiet ones because the mouth on this man? Holy.
Guacamole.

Quotes:
"It's Blakely. It's always been Blakely. It will always be Blakely."

“She’s it for me. She’s mine. And I’ll spend every waking hour making sure she knows that.”

“The man who would barely talk to me, who likes to have his nose stuck in a book, had the dirtiest mouth I’ve ever heard.“

“It’s because he has the girth-o-nater. He doesn’t have to say anything, just wield that thing like the goddamn orgasmic weapon that it is.”
