The Billabong by Jack Byrne

4.0

Okay, I'll admit to being a huge fan of the virgin (especially the innocent-in-mind-as-well-as-body, you-want-to-put-what-where? virgin), and Jim just made me want to cuddle. Jim is a cattle rancher going through a tough patch, when he's rescued by the rather mysterious and dashing Mark. The attraction comes as somewhat of a surprise for Jim, and the worldly Mark coaxes them along into a sweet relationship. But then Mark's past comes to bite them on the ass. I would have loved to see this expanded somewhat, both in Jim's struggle with accepting feelings that he's been taught are "wrong", and also in life after their grand escape, but overall a very nice book.
