Had some really good action packed moments (beginning 200pgs, end 100pgs) but definitely a hard read throughout. The world building was extremely boring but vital to the plot so idrk what was going on half the time, the POV changes every couple pages it was unbearable. Characters constantly killed off to randomly return for absolutely no reason? Can’t say the last time I bailed after book 1 of a series but…
