Aggie Morton, Mystery Queen: The Body under the Piano by Marthe Jocelyn

3.5 ⭐️ Picked up this book to fulfill my "middle school read" for a challenge I'm doing.
What I would say first is that it was a hard read for me, in the sense that it didn't keep my interest for very long while reading. I put this down quite a bit. Most likely more my fault than that of the author since in the end I did quite enjoy it and gave it a pretty decent rating. I think the book's saving grace was the awesome characters we met. They were all very likeable, even the murderer, and especially Hector! What a little charmer he is! I enjoyed the style of writing as well. I really felt transported back to 1902 and was totally immersed in their lives and the way things were back then. Totally loved the Agatha Christie vibe going on as well. It was a fun read and in the end... I'm glad I finished it!
