like the very first aftg book, i felt as though i wasn’t quite hooked until most the way through the book.
it may have been because i read this over a period of two months but it really took me a while to get into it and feel properly invested in jean’s healing.
i feel like sakavic kinda shot herself in the foot by making the trojans such a large team - we only really got close to a few. i’m hoping tsc2 has a better exploration of the full team as apart from the main four it feels like we don’t know the rest at all. understandably while this series is all about jean, it would have been nice to see the rest of the trojans properly fleshed out
