A real gem! Seeing Hugo go through life and face the reality of what has happen to him. As a narrator Hugo is somewhat unreliable due to him being so young however it makes so that you feel compassion for him as an adult reader. This story really whisks you into a time of steam trains, 30’s Paris and the first films. A real gem!
