Morally grey MMC
Plot twists
A pawn between two kingdoms, into a force marriage with a fae prince who hates her because she’s half fae. These two hate each other, and I felt it in the core of my heart. It was dangerous hate, true enemies.
I mean, he throws a snake in her carriage and gets her bitten by it and she retaliates by poisoning him with venom of the same type of snake years later. It’s back and forth hatred for years!!! Nonstop. And then the enemy steps in and everything changes.
To say I didn’t get whiplash from this book would be a lie. There is a whole lot of confusion in this book not in a bad way in a funny way. I had no idea where I was going and 50% of the time I felt like going to read the spoilers online. I wanted to know what would happen and I just couldn’t put the book down.
Ella Fields made this book epic up to the end. The betrayal. The heartbreak. The love. The hate. The secrets. Plot twists. You get all that in this book. Loved it.
