Walk on Water: The Miracle of Saving Children's Lives by Michael Ruhlman

informative reflective medium-paced

4.25

As a former nurse, I came in knowing a lot of the medical terminology in this book; I thought Ruhlman did an excellent job of explaining terms and concepts in "layman's" speak without being condescending at all. Ruhlman provides us with a fascinating look into the world of pediatric heart surgery, introducing us to the families, care teams, heartbreak, and hope involved in this world.
