Second Chance Charmer by Brighton Walsh

5.0

If Brighton Walsh writes it I'm reading it!

Welcome to Havenbrook where the men are hot and their mouths are hotter, and the women are sassy, witty and downright fun. I absolutely loved Willow and Finn and all the angst and swoon wrapped up on their second chance.

Young love ripped apart by her meddling father gets a redo when Finn returns to town 10 years after his departure with one thing on his mind - get his woman back. Willow was the love of his life and his biggest regret was always leaving her.

Willow's closed herself off to love since Finn tore her heart to shreds 10 years ago, but when her one true love returns to town and those feelings and the deep connection they once shared come rushing back, it may just be worth exploring.

Finn decided early on that he was never leaving Willow again, yet she's watching the clock for his inevitable departure, or so she thinks. As they work to rebuild what they'd lost, their connection is growing stronger by the day and their chemistry is off the charts. Finn's mouth will have you melting and reaching for a tall glass of water.

Finn and Willow may finally be on the same page, and Willow's starting to believe there could be a future ahead for them when her dad sends her world crashing down yet again. Finn always intended on coming clean with her and square up with her dad, but dear old daddy beat him to it and spun the narrative in his favor. Willow feels like a fool yet again and refuses to hear him out.

Finn plays his cards just right and forces daddy Haven's hands and what ensues is second chance romance bliss. I was so giddy that Willow and Finn FINALLY had a real shot at forever.

I loved the friends and family playing such a pivotal part of this couples story and I can't wait to see more of them paired up in the rest of the series. Willow and Finn's ending gives us a clue on whose next and I have a feeling it's about to get even juicier!
