I recieved a free copy of this book through Electric Monkey as part of a giveaway.
If you're looking for a serious book about the issues in k-pop then this is not the book for you. But if you're looking for a fun Gossip Girl-esque novel about k-pop where you get to see how bad it can be? You'll love it.
I got through this book so quickly. It's an easy read and while it may be a little catty and predictable in places, that was exactly what I was expecting and I was happy about it.
Rachel goes through a lot in this book but with a great family and some really good friends hopefully things will get better.
This book does show how hard the k-pop industry can be but also the joy it brings people. It was nice to see the balance and knowing that coming from someone who experienced this life? Its probably very unfortunately accurate.
If you're looking for a fun read that's catty in the best way and you love k-pop then this is the book for you.
