What a way to start a series! This novella is the start of Bristol and Grip's journey. It gets you completely invested in them as characters and in the story in such a short amount of time. These characters jump into getting to each other and no topic is off the table, and I appreciated how Kennedy Ryan incorporated their conversation about race. We also learn a lot about each of their backstories and their goals in life. And I just fell in love with them from this novella alone.

I had to immediately start Grip once I finished this one because I needed to know what happened next!
