The Sword of Bedwyr by R.A. Salvatore
3.0
3.5 Stars. And I'm amazed at the fact I finished it the same day six years ago.
Deja vu aside, this is a fun read. Salvatore is no doubt the modern Edgar Rice Burroughs. Swashbuckling adventure, witty, fun albeit cliched action at times, strapping/charming heros, classig good vs. evil--except he does not constantly adhere to the "damsel in distress" trope and has descent female characters. (I've yet to find, and would like, to have a series with a butt-kicking heroine though).
If you have the audiobook the narrator's Oliver De'burroughs is amazing and outlandish.
