For as furious as I was about Peace Talks because it really was just a bad book, I was absolutely shocked at how much I loved this one. Yes, it was still too long and the tempo was too fast all of the time so that no moment really landed truly, but it was still great. The sheer magnitude of the battle, seeing every character you've ever seen before that is still alive (and some you thought weren't), and all of my favorite characters having a moment to be grand, made it all worth it.
