In terms of books that are…understandable and enjoyable by the majority of readers, Seeing I is right up there with Vampire Science. It’s got Eight being traumatized, Sam trying to function as a normal human (and deciding that being homeless is actually easier), bizarre aliens, Sam being traumatized, Eight fucking with government systems, awful organizations, environmentalism, eye squick, and really bad puns.

Really
bad puns.

I think the thing uniting Eight across media is the bad puns.

Anyway, in terms of my list of top EDAs, it’s still absolutely in the top 5.
