The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult
4.5

Phew! A large chunk of the center of the book felt stagnant and slow to me. It didn't seem like much was going to happen, just a slightly bored/distressed woman traipsing through her past without any intent of action other than nostalgia. All of the tiny ancient egypt mythologies took up too much storyline space and felt to boring and wordy. The last quarter of the book made up for it all. Everything was tied together, the plot thickened and sped up  and emotions everywhere. It really made you think of life, the past, love, moral choices, and death in so many different ways through different people and lifetimes.
