This book was absolutely beautiful. That’s all I have to say.
** I took some time and I think I can talk about it now. This book was everything I’ve ever wanted in a book, love, love lost and love found. Break the cycle of abuse and raising a strong kid. I love it, I love that even though there was trauma, it wasn’t what made the story. What made the story is Eva and Shane growing up, trying to face their trauma and still finding each other again. I love Audre, she was perceptive and grown up for a preteen.
