Maybe it's just because I read this book first, before the rest of the series. However, I think most of my dislikes aren't to do with not being fully informed.
Not as bad as the Devil Wears Prada, but I struggle reading this book. The overuses of metaphor is dizzying and the main Charter was okay. The storyline is well a mess. It's a mystery and so the outcome has to work, and to me, it doesn't.
The side characters also gave me a headache.
Just not for me.
