 I read in a few places that it wasn't absolutely critical to read the Bridge books in order, but I wonder if I was misled because I felt confused a lot of the time. I did keep thinking WOW THIS IS SO COOL but ultimately none of the characters felt quite feel real to me--and wow there were so many of them. Three stars for the excellent Vibes.
